Zoë Layden FRAeS appointed to the Board of Trustees

The Air League is delighted to announce the appointment of Zoë Layden FRAeS to the Board of Trustees.

Zoë Layden FRAeS

Originally from Boston, Massachusetts, Zoë is a graduate from Tufts University and brings a wealth of experience to the board. Professionally she is a risk management expert with 29 years’ experience in the international insurance sector, specialising in aviation and aerospace. She is currently Managing Director of her own consultancy firm.

Prior to her current appointment Zoë was broker relationship and Chief Underwriting Office Airline Director at Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty. She was responsible for portfolio management and strategic direction of the airline practice underwritten. Zoë previously spent 16 years at Willis Ltd in London and New York where she held a number of key production and management roles.

On here appointment to the board Zoë said:

“The aviation industry is the global infrastructure that allows for our commercial aspirations, it also allows for people to connect and peoples’ relationships to thrive. To work with the Air League and enable young people to enter into this world, this industry, is a huge opportunity and I’m so pleased to be invited to be on the board of Trustees to work toward these goals.”
