2024 applications open on Monday, 05 February and close at 11:59pm on Sunday, 31 March.
Our Electric Flying Scholarships include 5 hours flying on the Pipistrel Velis Electro, with additional simulator time, ground school and sustainability-focused discussions. The scholarships will be flown with SaxonAir at Norwich Airport across 3-4 days in Summer 2024. Accommodation will be provided to those that do not live in the local area.
You must be aged 16 or older by the 1st of June 2024 to be eligible. You must also not already hold a LAPL, PPL, NPPL, PPL, MPL, CPL or ATPL.
Yes. All applicants must hold an active Air League membership.
Up to 5 Electric Flying Scholarships will be awarded in 2024.
Yes. This scholarship can be counted towards your PPL hours.
