The Air League Announces the 2026 Annual Awards Reception at the Houses of parliament
The Air League is delighted to announce that its 2026 Annual Awards Reception will take place on Wednesday, 8 July 2026, in the prestigious Houses of Parliament. The event will bring together senior leaders from across aviation, aerospace, space, government, and education to celebrate the individuals and organisations shaping the future of flight.
The awards reception will welcome guests, including corporate members, Trustees, Council members, MPs, Peers, VIPs, and selected members of the press.
The evening will feature a keynote address from a soon‑to‑be‑announced industry leader, the presentation of The Air League’s annual awards, including the prestigious Billy Deacon Award, and valuable opportunities to network with senior figures from across the sector in one of Westminster’s most iconic settings.
Alongside the Billy Deacon Award, the following will be awarded on the night:
The Founders’ Medal – For the most meritorious achievement in the field of British aviation during the year under review.
The Gold Medal – For outstanding service to the causes of The Air League.
The Jeffrey Quill Medal – For exceptional contribution to the development of air‑mindedness in Britain’s youth.
The Scott‑Farnie Medal – Recognising significant work in the field of air education.
The Marshall of Cambridge Award – For exceptional support of The Air League by a recent Scholarship winner.
President’s Meritorious Service Award – For considerable service and contribution to The Air League over many years.
Framed Addresses – Awarded to individuals who have demonstrated outstanding contribution to aviation and aerospace.
