Disappearing Britain is a Channel 4 series running through the Autumn where celebrities such as Janet Ellis (ex Blue Peter and mother of Sophie Ellis-Bextor) visit memorable locations to compare the old days with today. Janet wanted Andrew along as he was the last Operational Commander of the Greenham Common cruise missile base.
