The 2019 residential Gliding to Solo Scheme, sponsored by Boeing UK and delivered by the Air League, featured in BBC London News yesterday evening. We are unbelievably proud of our nine students from All Saints Catholic School, Kingsdale Foundation School and Space Studio West London for completing the two week programme at London Gliding Club. Despite lost days due to bad weather, 8 virtual solos were reached!
Students were presented with certificates and gift bags from Boeing UK Communications Manager, Katerina Giannini, as well as having family members present to witness the ceremony and the gliding that took place throughout the day.
