From the 1st April 2022 the Air League Trust will become a Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Scheme Approved Activty Provider (AAPs).

Approved Activity Provider status under the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award means that activities offered by the Air League Trust, like flying, gliding, and engineering scholarships may count towards achieving bronze, silver, and gold DofE awards.

As an Skills Approved Activity Provider, the DofE has licenced and approved that the Air League, as an organisation that provide skills opportunities for participants meets DofE section, oversight, and safeguarding requirements.

The 2022 Scholarship Programme will be launching shortly and will be building on a record 2021, where over 90 scholarships worth over £120,000 were awarded to individuals across the United Kingdom.

This accreditation builds on the Air League’s vision of changing lives through aviation and aids in supporting career pathways into aviation and aerospace.
