The Air League Welcomes Nigel Lowe and Paul Everitt to its Board of Trustees

The Air League is delighted to announce the appointment of Nigel Lowe and Paul Everitt to its Board of Trustees, further strengthening the organisation’s leadership and strategic reach across the aviation, aerospace, and defence sectors.

Both Nigel and Paul bring a wealth of experience, insight, and commitment to the Air League’s mission to change lives through aviation – ensuring that more young people and underrepresented groups can access meaningful pathways into the industry.

Nigel Lowe MBA

Nigel Lowe is a globally recognised leader in business transformation and change management, with a distinguished consulting career spanning over three decades. Currently a Partner at PA Consulting, Nigel leads the firm’s Royal Air Force Account and the Aerospace People & HR Capability. He specialises in complex digital, IT, HR and finance transformations—delivering innovative solutions that embed technology, enhance user experience, and unlock workforce potential.

A passionate advocate for talent development, Nigel’s work directly aligns with the Air League’s focus on addressing skills shortages and enabling the next generation of aerospace professionals. His background also includes senior leadership roles at Wipro, Deloitte, Cognizant, and HP Consulting, and he holds an MBA with Distinction in Complex Transformation and Stakeholder Management.

Paul Everitt

Paul Everitt is an experienced Chief Executive and Chair, widely respected for his leadership across the aerospace, automotive, and defence industries. He currently serves as Chair of the Aerospace Technology Institute (ATI), where he oversees the UK’s aerospace technology strategy and funding framework. Paul was formerly Chief Executive of ADS Group and the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT), and previously held senior roles at Farnborough International and the Society of British Aerospace Companies.

Throughout his career, Paul has championed UK manufacturing, driven innovation, and cultivated high-impact partnerships between government and industry. He brings deep governance experience – having served on multiple audit, risk, and nominations committees – and a strong commitment to advancing sustainable aviation and the net zero transition.
