The Air League is delighted to announce that we will be attending the Farnborough International Air Show 2026 (FIA2026) as part of the Pioneers of Tomorrow event on Friday 24 July, from 09:00 to 17:30.
This dedicated STEM-focused day highlights the theme “Future Workforce: Inspiring and empowering the next generation of aerospace talent”, a mission closely aligned with The Air League’s longstanding commitment to broadening access to aviation and supporting future leaders across aerospace, defence and space.
People remain at the heart of aerospace, and as the sector evolves at pace, ensuring a skilled, diverse and resilient workforce is critical to future success. The Future Workforce theme brings together educators, employers, training providers and young innovators to explore how best to inspire early interest in STEM, broaden access to careers, and equip individuals with the skills needed to drive innovation, from sustainable aviation and AI-driven technologies to national security and space exploration. These conversations are reflected throughout FIA2026, culminating in the Pioneers of Tomorrow event, which offers students, apprentices and graduates the opportunity to engage with the industry and better understand the pathways available to them.
The Air League team will be there to champion the opportunities available to young people at every stage of their journey. Whether exploring a first interest in aviation, progressing through training and education, or already developing a career in the sector, visitors will be able to learn more about our scholarships, outreach programmes and networks designed to inspire, enable and support the next generation.
We look forward to engaging with aspiring aviators and aerospace professionals, and to continuing our work to ensure that talent, passion and ambition, not background, determine who succeeds in aviation.
