Over £2m of funding has been awarded to young people pursuing a career in the aviation industry over the past decade, and the 2024 Scholarship season builds upon a successful 2023 where 107 Scholarships were awarded.

The Air League’s Scholarship programme is the broadest aviation scholarship programme in the UK and includes 5 categories of powered Flying Scholarships, 3 categories of Gliding Scholarships, an industry first sustainability-focused Electric Scholarship, and the 2 week Aerospace Engineering placement Scholarships. This is alongside the Drone programme, which is currently open to applications, the Battle Back veterans’ course and the Soaring to Success schools’ outreach programme.
