This month, as part of our Soaring to Success programme with Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council, we saw over one hundred Year 9 students reach new heights for the first time! The Gliding Taster Days took place over the course of a week at Wolds Gliding Club and York Gliding Centre.
The Air League would like to give a huge thank you to the gliding clubs and schools involved for their constant support and engagement, which has enabled this tremendous programme to come to fruition.
