On the 17th July, a new documentary – Spitfire, will be screened across cinemas in the UK to commemorate the centennary of the Royal Air Force. This new documentary film is narrated by Charles Dance.
Sir Christopher Harper, an Air League trustee, had the privilege of attending the world premiere of Spitfire on the eve of the RAF 100 celebrations and thoroughly recommends the documentary. He stated ” In addition some utterly fabulous flying sequences shot by John Dibbs, the film features wonderful interviews with a host of Battle of Britain veterans, ATA pilots and even some of the plotters who were in the bunker at RAF Uxbridge for Winston Churchill’s (‘Sir, there are no reserves?’) visit in September 1940″.
This documentary is only screened for one day so don’t miss it. Watch the fantastic trailer below.
