Practical recruitment skills, real airline insight,
and expert guidance
The Air League is delighted to be combining forces with British Airways to deliver an exclusive, free pilot recruitment workshop, available exclusively to Air League members.
As a charity committed to supporting the next generation of aviation professionals, The Air League understands that progressing from ambition to a professional flight deck can be challenging. This workshop is designed to provide targeted mentoring, practical guidance, and direct access to industry insight at a crucial stage in our members’ career journeys.
Delivered jointly by The Air League and members of the British Airways team, the workshop offers an informed and realistic view of airline pilot recruitment. It will help members understand what British Airways looks for, how candidates are assessed, and how to present themselves confidently and effectively throughout the application process.
Why the air league is delivering this workshop?
The Air League exists to turn aspiration into action.
Success in pilot recruitment depends not only on talent, but also on confidence, preparation, and access to the right information. By delivering this workshop with British Airways, the Air League is ensuring its members can approach recruitment better informed, better prepared, and with clearer expectations.
Through mentoring, practical recruitment skills, and exposure to real airline standards, members are supported to move forward with greater readiness, stronger applications, and clearer career direction. Supporting members at these key transition points is central to the Air League’s charitable mission, to widen access, reduce uncertainty, and help members realise their potential.
