Do you have a passion for pursuing a new and exciting career as a Drone Pilot?

Eagle Eye Innovations and the Air League have been collaborating on the provision of drone scholarships since 2019. So far, we have given out opportunities to six young people to complete their PfCo (Permission for Commercial Operation) through the RUSTA pathway.

This scholarship includes a 3-day RUSTA course (2 days of flying), theory lessons and online materials as well as NVQ Level 4 Diploma in the Remote Piloting of Unmanned Aircraft Systems for Commercial Operations. For more information about the NVQ, click here.

Remote Unmanned Systems Training Academy (RUSTA) is the training arm of Eagle Eye Innovations Ltd. RUSTA is accredited as a Recognised Assessment Entity (RAE) by the UK’s Civilian Aviation Authority (CAA). This accreditation allows RUSTA to deliver the General Visual Line of Certificate (GVC) and the A2 Certificate of Competency (A2 CofC) in line with the regulatory change introduced in January 2021. The most obvious change is that qualifications are not just required for operators who are conducting operations for commercial applications but for all operators regardless of use.

All of RUSTA’s instructors are Ex-military or/and emergency Services personnel and have vast experience in both manned and unmanned aircraft operations all over the world.

As the longest running unmanned training academy in the United Kingdom, RUSTA have the reputation, experience and qualifications to get operators trained to the highest standard achievable.
