The next edition of our ‘Leaders, Pioneers and Professionals’ webinar sessions will take place on 16th June 2020.

Nick West will be talking to Pete Stratten, Chief Executive of the British Gliding Association. Pete will be talking about how the BGA deliver the whole range of support needed by the UK’s 80 gliding clubs, some 2300 aircraft and thousands of BGA members. We’ll also be joined by former and current Air League Gliding Scholars who will be discussing UK Junior Gliding with Pete.

Pete was a member of the Governments GA Red Tape Challenge team and has represented the UK’s interests on EASA rule making working groups. He is currently the co-chair of the APPG on GA Airspace Group. Outside the day job, Pete is a keen soaring and racing glider pilot, instructor and examiner, and occasional GA aeroplane pilot.
