In September, the Air League welcomed Janine Hornsby as the charity’s Chief Executive Officer.

Janine joined the Air League from Marshall Aerospace, where she led significant Science, Technology, Engineering, and Maths (STEM) engagement programmes aimed at schools and communities across the UK. Her work focused on fostering industry collaboration to address the growing skills gap within the aerospace sector, which has been recognised as a key challenge for the future of the industry. Before her tenure at Marshall, Janine, an MBA graduate of Westminster University, transitioned from the education sector, where she held teaching roles and later became Head of Curriculum at one of Cambridgeshire’s most challenging secondary schools, further strengthening her ability to engage with young minds and develop their potential.

Janine will soon be doing an End of Year Review for the Members’ Newsletter: and we’re inviting Air League Members to ask questions to be featured. Whether it’s advice about your career pathway, a question about the Air League or the aviation or aerospace industries as a whole: you can submit your questions via the form below.
