The Air League is looking for an Events, Marketing and Communications Officer

This is an exciting opportunity for an events and marketing professional to lead the planning and execution of key events for the Air League, including guest lectures, Annual Reception, Air Shows and fundraising drives. You will use a variety of resources to create a seamless customer experience, maximising attendance, monitoring response and enabling timely follow-up.

This is a varied role which will see you working with a range of stakeholders across government, military and industry to help influence policy and strategy relating to aviation and aerospace. You will also be working with our younger members, who the Air League supports to gain experience and exposure to the aviation and aerospace industries through our scholarships and other charitable ventures.

You’ll be highly organized and with an eye for detail and be comfortable communicating at all levels, adjusting your approach to suit the audience,

You will have strong written and verbal communications skills necessary for providing information pre and post events, as well as using a variety of different communication channels ranging from newsletters, social media and our website to capture a wide audience.

As part of the role, you will also use a variety of different resources to help market the Air League’s work and initiatives not only to our corporate and individual members but also to prospective new partners and supporters.

This is a brand new role which you will have plenty of opportunity to scope and to influence. As we are a small team, you will be given the opportunity to contribute to a variety of activities. Joining our team will provide you with insight and exposure to the wider aviation and aerospace industry, something we hope you are passionate about.

You may have an events and marketing background – this role would suit someone who has some previous experience of similar roles and wishes to grow and develop further.
