The Millennium Point Charitable Trust supports and inspires the next generation who will shape technology, industry, and the world of tomorrow. Advancing education for public benefit, the Trust supports the industrial and technological processes which have shaped the modern world and will shape the future world. The Millennium Point Trust actively supports the growth of STEM skills and careers within education and encourages traditionally marginalised groups to pursue STEM roles. It supports activities which promote STEM skills and raises the profile of STEM career paths.
Each year, the Millennium Point Charitable Trust provides funding to not-for-profits, schools, and colleges across the West Midlands Combined Authority area to support STEM-related projects. Alongside this grants scheme, the Millennium Point Trust Scholarship funds at least one young person’s undergraduate degree each year at Birmingham City University.
