29th November will see organisations and individuals from across aerospace come together in the House of Lords to highlight to politicians and industry stakeholders the social, economic and educational benefits of youth access to aviation and the vital connection such activities have with the future prosperity of the British aerospace industry. The primary aim of our joint Parliamentary event is to showcase what we do to Members of Parliament and exists to encourage support of our cause. Kindly hosted by Rt Hon Baroness Garden of Frognal in the Cholmondeley Room and organised by The Air League, the Parliamentary Reception acts not only as away of showing MPs, Peers and industry what is happening at a grass roots level within aerospace, but further highlights the many advantages Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) can have on the future development of aerospace within the United Kingdom.
Organisations in attendance today will include The Royal Aeronautical Society, Aerobility, Air Cadets, The Light Aircraft Association, Brooklands Museum, The British Gliding Association, The Air League, The British Aerobatics Association and IMechE.
