The event will be interactive and involve all participants to generate some clear outcomes. We plan to generate a
roadmap that helps join the work undertaken at grass roots with the steps required to reach senior leadership roles.

As the British Gliding Association builds up to the 11th FAI Women’s World Gliding Championship, due to be held in August, the Empowering Women in Aviation Reception also aims to highlight how the Championships’ inspires people, particularly women and girls, to experience the sport and community of gliding, and to help women already in the sport grow their ability and enjoyment.
