Tickets for this event have now sold out!

Join us on Thursday 22nd February from 6:30pm for the Inclusivity in Aviation Reception, in association with the British Gliding Association (BGA). The event, being held in the Terrace Pavilion at the House of Commons, will consist of a networking drinks and canape reception, keynote speeches from industry representatives, a panel discussion and Q&A, all with the aim of promoting inclusivity within the industry.

The Air League and the British Gliding Association seeks to build on inclusivity for all in aviation. The evening will generate answers to some key questions to encourage positive action to join the work undertaken at grass roots with the career pipeline to make a career in aviation possible for anyone.

The Air League is proud to support inclusivity in aviation, being a signatory to the Women in Aviation and Aerospace Charter, and having a diverse range of beneficiaries to the annual Scholarships programme. In 2023, nearly 31% of Scholars were female, and one in three Scholars were from an ethnic or minority background. The Inclusivity in Aviation Reception aims to increase awareness of the work being done to promote inclusivity in the aviation industry and explore areas in which improvements can be made to make aviation accessible to all.

The Reception is generously sponsored by the University of West London, Lockheed Martin and Draken.
