The Air League had a fantastic weekend in joining Boeing UK, the Northern Ireland Wing Air Training Corps, and the stunning cadet built Sting S4 (G-NIAC), in the ‘Techno Zone’ for The Royal International Air Tattoo 2019. The official handover ceremony saw Air League CEO, Nick West, present the keys for G-NIAC to chairman of the Royal Air Force Flying Clubs’ Association, Air Commodore Al Seymour.
Last week, we were extremely pleased to hear that G-NIAC reached 9000ft with its first test flight, completed by Flight Lieutenant Sean Link. We would like to commend the NI Wing ATC team for their commitment and persistent endeavour that went into bringing this STEM project to life, which was supported by the Air League and Boeing UK.
